March 1st: Rims are left up around the clock

June 1st: Rims will come down on a daily basis at 8:00pm and put back up at 9:00am the following day

September 15th: Rims are left up around the clock

November 20th: Rims come down for the winter

This schedule was created by the Park Director and the Board of Commissioners in an attempt to give the members of our community that wish to utilize the courts enough daily play time in the warm weather months, and also respect the members of our community who wish to rest after 8pm.

We thank the Ridgeville community for your compromise and commitment to building an equitable, shared space that appreciates the needs of every neighbor.

Shakespeare on the Ridge

Mudlark Theater

Performance Dates:
June 21-23, 2019

Admission is free. 

This will be Mudlark Theater's ninth year as a participant in the Shakespeare on the Ridge festival. Past festival productions include: A Midsummer Night's Dream, Twelfth Night, Romeo and Juliet, and Love's Labour's Lost.

Performance Dates:
July 20-August 11 (Saturdays & Sundays at 7pm)

Admission is free.

The Arc Theatre returns to Ridgeville Park for the tenth consecutive year! If you haven't seen the work of this exciting company, you're in for a real treat! Past productions include: A Midsummer Night's DreamTwelfth Night, and Romeo and Juliet, Macbeth, As You Like It and Much Ado about Nothing and The Taming of the Shrew

Festival Information

All shows take place on the East Stage at Ridgeville Park, adjacent to the Ridgeville Park District Community House (908 Seward St.). Shakespeare on the Ridge is performed under the stars. The show will continue through light weather interruptions and will only be suspended for safety reasons. Some chair seating will be provided, but patrons are welcome to bring their own blankets and chairs. Feel free to bring a picnic dinner and enjoy it throughout the show!

Because we are committed to ensuring that all performances are free and open to the public, we rely on community support to help subsidize our Shakespeare on the Ridge tradition.

All donations are processed through the Ridgeville Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization and sponsor of Shakespeare on the Ridge.

*The Group option is for people interested in reserving a picnic table for the evening. The table can accommodate up to 6 people and will be ready at 6:30pm. Please note that only one tote bag will be provided to the Group's contact person.
