Ridgeville Summer Camps

Summer Camp Registration Opens January 5, 2018 @ 10am!

Summer Camp at Ridgeville is a magical time! Our parks are flooded with kids bursting with summer energy. Our Farmers' Market brings fresh local produce right to the neighborhood. Our Sunday night concerts allow community members of all ages to share in the artistic talents of local musicians. Our Shakespeare on the Ridge festival draws families out of their homes to experience free, live outdoor theater.

There's no doubt about it. Summer is special here.

As you look at the variety of summer camp options for your child(ren), we hope that you will consider what Ridgeville has to offer. For years, Ridgeville has provided kids with a fantastic summer experience, while staying true to its mission of being a safe, nurturing, and affordable option for parents. We take your child's care very seriously and are committed to maintaining a child to counselor ratio that is no higher than six to one. We want our well-trained staff to be able to give each child the attention that he or she deserves. We also want to facilitate and encourage activities that allow all of our children to thrive in an environment that values their imaginative and creative input.  Our camps grow in popularity each year and space is limited, so don’t wait to sign up! Spots fill on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Youth in the Parks

CELEBRATING OVER 20 YEARS OF YOUTH IN THE PARKS PROGRAMMING Youth in the Parks is a free drop-in program available in Elks, Brummel, and Reba parks providing organized sports, games, and cultural events. Park counselors will supervise play in the parks from 1:30-9:30pm, starting in June.

Pre-K Day Camp

Pre-K Day Camp is the perfect camp for young children getting ready for their first camp adventure. Over the four or eight week session, children will play in small, well supervised groups and take part in a variety of games and structured activities, such as story time, arts and crafts, and parades.

Day Camp 5-7

Creative Arts Camp

In this fun-filled camp, children engage in arts and crafts projects, drama, music, and dance, while also making time for games, sports, and other traditional camp activities. The camp will be shaped by the interests and abilities of all camp participants to ensure that a wide range of projects emerge throughout the summer. Projects might include everything from comic book making to collaborative painting & sculpture.

Time Travelers Camp

Has your child been to Japan, the Middle Ages, or the 1950s? In this exciting camp, children journey through time as they explore a variety of different eras and places. Over each four-week session, campers create cool art projects, play games, and hear music that reflects their weekly themed time period or place of travel.
