Elks Park Community Garden

More and more people are realizing that an urban environment can include space for growing vegetables and fruits. It’s also a great place to create small gardens for local wildlife to feed on nectar, berries or seeds.

Want to garden but don’t have a place to do it? Ridgeville can help. You can grow your own vegetables and fruits in your own garden plot at the Elks Park Community Garden. We provide the tilled beds and water, you do the rest. Rent your plot for the season (March thru November) for one low fee. We offer the option to Share the Harvest by donating excess produce to Edible Evanston, a local food-sharing organization. Plots are limited.

Location: Elks Park (Callan and Hull Terrace)
Fee: $20-$40/season
