Garden2Table

More and more people are realizing that an urban environment can include space for growing vegetables and fruits. It’s also a great place to create small gardens for local wildlife to feed on nectar, berries or seeds.

Ridgeville Park’s Garden2Table is easily one of Ridgeville’s most popular summertime trends. This seasonal program allows you to plant and grow your own garden with the help of a master gardener. Each student has their own bed to plant what they will, with the benefit of a bi-monthly, 1.5-hour class (18 classes total) to learn about growing seeds, planting, harvesting, cooking with fresh produce, etc. This community-style garden class is designed for new gardeners, but is appropriate for gardeners of any level.

The 2024 season had been cancelled. If you are interested in renting a bed, please email Natalie at nsallee@ridgeville.org.
